Luxul’s Tactical Signal Booster (TSB) is designed for use in mobile and/or mesh wireless networking applications. It implements the same patented Signal Booster technology contained in Luxul’s Tactical Mesh Antenna (TMA), while allowing for the use of virtually any antenna that supports the specified frequency range. Signal Booster construction is highly durable and water resistant for outdoor applications, while the small footprint and low profile design makes it an ideal solution for mounting on vehicles or in other space constrained applications.
The TSB implements patented Digital Automatic Gain Control (D-AGC) to help increase the wireless coverage area by as much as 400% while maintaining high data throughput rates. D-AGC monitors the incoming signal and makes adjustments so that the output signal maintains constant power levels, ensuring the cleanest and most consistent RF signal possible. The TSB is also bidirectional, delivering up to 18dB of receive gain—significantly improving the connectivity with client devices.
